Non-Places uses the quintessential seaside town to explore the idea of the “non-place” - undefined or transitional spaces with which we have little or no deep connection to. The series juxtaposes the idealised notion of the British seaside with a distinct lack of human presence, illustrating the sense of detachment between place and reality.
